Will StockedSoft pass an FSA audit or BRC inspection?
StockedSoft gives you the batch traceability records FSA and BRC inspections require — lot numbers, manufacturing dates, expiry dates, full forward and backward traceability through your supply chain. The software helps you meet record-keeping requirements; the wider compliance process (HACCP, audit prep) sits with you or your food consultant.
Can I track allergen information?
Yes. Each product has fields for allergens (the 14 declarable UK allergens), allergen statements, and ingredient declarations. You can output a PDF spec sheet per SKU for customers and trading partners.
How does production work in practice?
You set up recipes (BOMs) once — for example, "Strawberry Jam: 4kg strawberries, 3kg sugar, 200ml lemon juice, 12 jars, 12 lids". When you create a work order, ingredients are reserved. When you confirm completion, ingredients deplete and finished stock increases — with the new batch ready to despatch.
What about co-packers and contract manufacturing?
You can flag products as "co-packed", record the batches you receive from the co-packer with their batch number, and merge that into your normal traceability flow. We don't currently send work orders to external co-packer systems — that's on the roadmap.
Does it integrate with Shopify for D2C?
Yes — Shopify two-way sync is included on the Enterprise plan. Orders from your Shopify store flow in automatically, stock pushes back to keep your Shopify listings accurate. Most D2C food brands run Shopify + StockedSoft Enterprise.
How fast can I get set up?
Most food businesses are running on StockedSoft in an afternoon. Import your products from a CSV (or your existing system), set up your warehouses, enter opening stock balances. You can be despatching orders the same day.
