How does the Shopify integration actually work?
StockedSoft and Shopify sync via webhooks. When a Shopify order is placed, it flows into StockedSoft as a sales order within seconds. When you despatch from StockedSoft, the order is marked fulfilled in Shopify and a tracking email is sent. Stock level changes (sales, receipts, transfers) push back to Shopify in real time so your storefront stays accurate. Available on the Enterprise plan.
Will it work with multiple Shopify stores?
Yes — multi-store Shopify is supported. Each store maps to a separate sales channel within StockedSoft, but all draw from a single stock pool. Common setup: UK store, EU store, and B2B/wholesale store all running off one inventory.
What about Amazon and eBay?
We don't have native Amazon or eBay integrations yet — they're on the roadmap. Today, most customers export marketplace orders as CSV and import them, or use a third-party connector. If marketplace integration is critical, Cin7 or Linnworks may suit better today; we're a better fit if Shopify is your primary channel.
How does it integrate with Royal Mail, DPD, etc.?
StockedSoft generates labels and tracking via standard CSV exports that work with Royal Mail Click & Drop, DPD, Hermes/Evri, and Tuffnells. We don't have one-click "API to carrier" connectors yet — that's on the roadmap. For now, batch-export to your carrier portal of choice, which most ShopOfis brands do anyway.
Can I handle bundles and gift sets?
Yes — set up a bundle SKU as a "kit" of component SKUs. When the bundle ships, the components auto-deplete. Perfect for "Mother's Day gift set" type promotions that pull from existing inventory.
I'm doing £30k/month on Shopify. Is this overkill?
At £30k/month with one channel and a small SKU range, you might still be fine on Shopify's built-in inventory. The case for StockedSoft strengthens when you're juggling multiple channels, doing 30+ orders/day, running bundles, or starting wholesale. Try the free Starter plan and decide for yourself — there's no commitment.
