Sound familiar?

The day-to-day frustrations we hear from e-commerce brands businesses — and what changes when you switch to the right tool.

Overselling on Shopify
You sell the last unit on Shopify, then immediately get a wholesale order for the same product. Shopify doesn't know about your wholesale stock — and your wholesale invoicing doesn't know about Shopify. By the time you spot it, you've double-sold and are emailing a refund apology.
Spreadsheet hell as you scale
You started on a Shopify-only Excel sheet. Now you also sell on Amazon, do 30% wholesale, sometimes show at trade fairs, and store inventory at two locations. The spreadsheet became 14 tabs, nobody trusts the numbers, and stock counts take a whole Sunday.
Pick and pack chaos
When orders hit 30+ a day, picking from memory stops working. You miss orders, ship the wrong thing, miss next-day cut-offs, and customer service eats half the day fielding "where's my order?" emails.
Margins you can't see
Per-channel margin is invisible. You think Shopify is your strongest channel — but once you factor in transaction fees, packaging, and Royal Mail Tracked 24 costs, is it actually beating Amazon? Probably not, but you have no idea.

What you get with StockedSoft

Features built specifically for e-commerce brands operations — included in every plan from Growth upwards.

🛍️
Two-way Shopify sync
Orders flow from Shopify into StockedSoft automatically via webhooks. Stock levels push back so your Shopify product pages stay accurate. Updates to product details (price, SKU, descriptions) stay in sync — pick a source of truth and stick with it.
📦
Pick, pack & despatch
Generate pick lists for today's orders, batch-print labels for Royal Mail and DPD, scan-and-pack stations for higher accuracy. Customer gets a tracking email automatically when the order ships.
🌍
Multi-channel stock truth
One stock pool across Shopify, Amazon (via marketplace exports), wholesale, retail. No more channel-specific spreadsheets. Sell the last unit on any channel and the others update immediately.
💰
Per-channel margin reporting
See real margin per channel — after transaction fees, packaging, postage, and returns. Find out which channels deserve more investment and which ones are quietly losing money.
🏷️
Bundles & variants
Handle SKU variants (size, colour) and bundle SKUs (gift sets, multi-packs). Component stock auto-depletes when a bundle ships. Critical for D2C brands running promotional bundles.
📊
Reorder forecasting
See which products are running low based on recent sales velocity, with lead times built in. Reorder reports surface what to buy this week — no more 6-week stock-outs because you missed the trend.

Common questions from e-commerce brands businesses

How does the Shopify integration actually work?
StockedSoft and Shopify sync via webhooks. When a Shopify order is placed, it flows into StockedSoft as a sales order within seconds. When you despatch from StockedSoft, the order is marked fulfilled in Shopify and a tracking email is sent. Stock level changes (sales, receipts, transfers) push back to Shopify in real time so your storefront stays accurate. Available on the Enterprise plan.
Will it work with multiple Shopify stores?
Yes — multi-store Shopify is supported. Each store maps to a separate sales channel within StockedSoft, but all draw from a single stock pool. Common setup: UK store, EU store, and B2B/wholesale store all running off one inventory.
What about Amazon and eBay?
We don't have native Amazon or eBay integrations yet — they're on the roadmap. Today, most customers export marketplace orders as CSV and import them, or use a third-party connector. If marketplace integration is critical, Cin7 or Linnworks may suit better today; we're a better fit if Shopify is your primary channel.
How does it integrate with Royal Mail, DPD, etc.?
StockedSoft generates labels and tracking via standard CSV exports that work with Royal Mail Click & Drop, DPD, Hermes/Evri, and Tuffnells. We don't have one-click "API to carrier" connectors yet — that's on the roadmap. For now, batch-export to your carrier portal of choice, which most ShopOfis brands do anyway.
Can I handle bundles and gift sets?
Yes — set up a bundle SKU as a "kit" of component SKUs. When the bundle ships, the components auto-deplete. Perfect for "Mother's Day gift set" type promotions that pull from existing inventory.
I'm doing £30k/month on Shopify. Is this overkill?
At £30k/month with one channel and a small SKU range, you might still be fine on Shopify's built-in inventory. The case for StockedSoft strengthens when you're juggling multiple channels, doing 30+ orders/day, running bundles, or starting wholesale. Try the free Starter plan and decide for yourself — there's no commitment.
